WHY OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER?

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provides a safety net for overseas students and covers the cost of some medical or hospital treatments, based on the OSHC policy, if students get sick or have an unexpected accident while abroad.
It is an Australian Government requirement for all overseas students to obtain OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover) for the duration of their study period in Australia, with some country exemptions.
