Student Representative Committee

Suryotam DAHAL (Chair)

I am a Nepali Citizen studying a Bachelor of Professional Accounting at the ASA. I have always dreamed of being a professional accountant and to-date the ASA is helping a lot with its state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities, and a healthy environment which makes us feel at home. I like to be involved in different social and cultural works and some awareness activities. I have been an active member of Leo Club, Rotaract and Junior Jaycees. Leadership development is one of the major parts of being successful and the opportunity to be Chair of the SRC will help me to grow as a leader and helping students in need and mostly make their stay in Australia fun.

Yogesh POUDEL (Deputy Chair/Treasurer)

I am currently a student of ASA and have completed an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management in 2021 in Sydney. I chose to do a Bachelor’s in Professional Accounting because I’ve always been interested in finance and money, and a couple of family members told me it leads to great career options too! My experience in ASA so far has been very valuable in informing and giving an insight into expectations of my course. I enjoy reading, hiking, white water rafting and spending time with friends and family.

Prasamsha SHARMA (Secretary)

I have just finished my A levels from Nepal and studying at ASA has been a great opportunity to enhance my skills and by being in team to represent the School through the Student Representative Council. Taking on the role and responsibility as a Secretary will surely help in my upcoming days. I also have an interest in reading novels, gardening, and cooking.

Spyridoula DIMOU (Deputy Secretary)

I am studying for a Bachelor of Professional Accounting at the ASA. My hobbies are cooking and reading as well as spending time with my family. I was recently hired in an accounting firm which helps me to gain experience. Through my dedication and commitment to my job, I am aiming to become a responsible professional accountant. Focusing on my studies gives me the opportunity to get a higher level of knowledge and coordinate my goals with the job requirements. ASA is an appropriate School to invest your studies as it always stands by the students’ needs and concerns.

Prashansha KARKI (Member)

I am currently completing the Bachelor of Professional Accounting at ASA. I love pushing myself out of my comfort zone, which is why I am here. I, like everyone else here, am preparing myself for challenges daily. One fact about me is that I can’t imagine my life without music, and my hobby, when no one is around, is singing. I also enjoy learning new topics and writing blogs. Sydney has a lot to offer, and the amazing team at ASA is the bridge that connects us with beautiful opportunities. I apply the SWOT analysis to my life and my favorite quote that motivates me every day is “Seize the Day!”
