Dr. Chivonne Algeo

PhD, MPM, LFAIPM

Principal and CEO

Chivonne has held management positions with Australian universities and leading multi-national organisations.  Her most recent role at Monash University was Vice-President of the Academic Board, and Program Director where she developed, managed and delivered several online and on-campus degrees.  Her previous role as a Course Director at the University of Technology Sydney was recognised with teaching and research awards and saw the introduction of multi-disciplinary specialisations to meet industry needs.

Her scholastic capability is built on 20 years of professional experience working across a range of sectors for corporates, government and other organisations in Indo-Asia and Australia.  Chivonne’s network of connections and international best practice is built on her roles in corporate finance with Lend Lease, business development with AMP, and the establishment of integrative medical centres for Eu Yan Sang.

Contributions that provide a benefit to the wider community include the development of self-determination programs with Indigenous People; Chair of the Women’s Housing Company; Vice President Australasia for the Action Learning Action Research Association; and NSW President, National Secretary, Chair of the Knowledge and Research Council, and Chair of the Council of Fellows for the Australian Institute of Project Management, resulting in a Life Fellowship award.

Chivonne is passionate about enabling the transformation of future leaders through a comprehensive and holistic approach to teaching and engagement.  Chivonne’s management of award-winning and accredited teaching programs have advanced students’ careers, and the many people involved in her partnership programs with industry, professional associations and community organisations.

Dr. Venkatesh Mahadevan

Academic Dean

Dr Venkatesh Mahadevan has over three decades of multinational higher education and industry experience in India, Malaysia, UK and New Zealand, with the last 12 years in senior education management in Australia. These roles include Vice Principal and Dean (Academic Affairs) at Queen Anne School of Management (QASM); Senior Academic Excellence Manager – University Partnerships at the Australian Technical and Management College (ATMC); Head, School of Business at Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT); Deputy Dean (Academic) at Asia Pacific International College (APIC); and Program Head, Swinburne University of Technology (SUT).

Venkatesh is a leader in Management Information Systems (MIS) and higher education teaching and learning enhancement. He has pro-actively managed the student life cycle, from marketing and recruitment to engagement, progression, and intervention. Venkatesh has gone beyond compliance requirements to assure quality of academic programs with agencies such as TEQSA, ESOS, ASQA, ACS, AASCB, ACCA, CPA, and EQUIS. His reputation at a national and international level are evident in refereed publications on business information, Information Technology (IT), and the interface with business.

Mr. Warren Roberts

Indigenous Advisor

Warren is a proud Thunghutti and Bundjalung man who founded YARN Australia in 2007. He has extensive experience working with Original Sovereign Nations of Australia having worked for NGO’s, universities, as well as local, state and federal government. Warren has been fortunate enough to work alongside esteemed elders from Original Sovereign Nations of Australia, which has encouraged him to reflect on the importance of respecting cultural protocols.

Dr Jaya Kundanani

Academic Coordinator

Dr Jaya Kundanani received her PhD in Business Administration in 2013 from India. Her research area was career development planning and training strategies for employees in telecom industry. She has a wide range of experience in Education Industry both in India and Australia. She has worked with big Institutions such as Federation University of Australia, Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australian Technical & Management College. Dr Jaya has also published research papers in relevant journals and participated in several professional development activities.

Finance Manager

Dennis is a Chartered Accountant, registered tax agent, and registered ASIC agent. He has more than 25 years of experience providing professional accounting, taxation and business advisory services in Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. His expertise includes the financial management, accounting and financial compliance of the higher education sector.

He earned his Master of Business Administration from University of Strathclyde, and Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from City University of Hong Kong.

Dennis enjoys reading, running, hiking and spending time with friends and family. He is a lifetime learner, self-development is his life journey

Mr. Simon Chaplin

Associate Dean Professional Services

Simon is an experienced educational professional with over 25 years of experience working in the sector. Simon has worked across the secondary, English language, vocational and higher education settings in Australia and internationally in Hong Kong and London.

Academically Simon has achieved a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education from Macquarie University and a Master of Arts in TESOL from City University in Hong Kong.

Simon believes that providing effective student support together with a welcoming and open environment and quality education programs is key to the continuing success of higher education students.

He enjoys reading, hiking and travelling to experience the many and varied cultures of the world.

Miss Sukuna Lama

Admissions and Recruitment Officer

Sukuna has been working in the education sector for more than four years and started her journey in Australia as an international student, completing Master of Business Administration (Professional Practice) at Charles Darwin University. Sukuna has worked in Student Services, Admissions and Academic Departments in administrative roles and is enthusiastic to work and pursue a leadership role in these areas. Previously being an international student, Sukuna is deeply aware of the importance of providing correct and timely information, support, and access to facilities from the start of the admissions process through to when our students graduate. Sukuna is motivated to help people and is honored to be a part of each student’s educational journey. Sukuna enjoys collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and believes that there is so much we can learn from each other. Sukuna loves reading, travelling, doing yoga and meditation and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

She graduated from the University of New South Wales, with Master degree in Financial analysis, and Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance. She like to travel, taking photos, making new friends and spending time with family.
