Dr. Sayma has obtained a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Western Sydney University (2008) and a Master’s in Economics and Graduate Diploma in Economics from Australian National University (ANU). She has a wide range of teaching experience both within and outside Australia. Within Australia, she taught at Macquarie University, UTS, and Western Sydney University. And outside of Australia, she taught at Yanbu University (Saudi Arabia) and Dhaka University (Bangladesh). She has published quite a number of articles in international journals and attended many international conferences. The subjects she teaches are Economic Analysis, Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Development Economics, etc. She is a Life member of Bangiya Arthniti Parishad, (Bengal Economic Association) and the Australian Academy of Business Leadership (AABL). Her hobby is traveling. She has travelled to many countries, including North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and New Zealand.
